The BC Marketplace acts as a highly visible shop window for your products and services. The small businesses we serve are the main attraction of our marketplace, and we’ve made some changes to the look of the site to increase visibility and make browsing easier than ever. You’ll likely notice our modernized layout and, for those on mobile, we’ve improved the browsing experience to make finding what you’re looking for easier even on a small screen.

We’ve simplified and enhanced our navigation to make it easier to browse and find businesses across your favourite communities and regions. We’re pleased to roll out a new and deeper layer of categorization that enables businesses to find an even more accurate fit with our marketplace. This will provide enhanced visibility for our businesses, while providing better search results and selections for our consumer audience.

Data is an entrepreneur’s best friend. When you log into your BC Marketplace account, you can now get up to the minute statistics on how your profile is performing. This data includes:

Impressions – the number of times your business has appeared in search or from shoppers browsing the BC Marketplace

Views – how often your BC Marketplace profile has been selected and viewed

Clicks – the number of shoppers navigating to your website or online store linked in your BC Marketplace profile
