On this adventure we will travel through the Discovery Islands and the epic fjords of the Coastal Mountains in search of Black Bears and Grizzly Bears that have awoken from their winter slumber.We will view them quietly by boat and watch them forage on the fresh sedges and grasses of spring! Their spring diet also includes molluscs, bivalves, amphipods and tiny crustaceans we call barnacles!As we travel to and from the bears spring/summer foraging habitat we also get to view many different terrestrial and marine mammals in their natural environment along the way. This adventure has many gifts for us, and every tour is unique.
