We operate multiple growing businesses and had recently worked with RFDM Consulting (Victoria, BC) to help synchronize web orders with the back end order handling system in Zoho books. RFDM uncovered that we needed some assistance on the bookkeeping and finance side and referred us to Tuulyp Consulting and we are glad they did! We signed on with Peter and Ludwig in March 2021 for a cleanup, monthly bookkeeping and virtual CFO services and it has been a major difference maker for both our businesses. Over the first year, the legacy chart of accounts from quickbooks was revamped, a comprehensive bookkeeping cleanup was completed , a new SKU system was setup for our inventory and manufacturing routines, and we now have a strong foundation for monthly financial reporting. I can login into the bookkeeping system to check on an invoice if I need to, or login to Syft and get a high level overview on our business performance trends. Having access to accurate data with powerful visualizations and graphics can really help bring clarity to what’s going on in each business. Our monthly reporting conversations tackle both bookkeeping issues, but also the more strategic questions that really matter - issues involving marketing systems, variable cost management, and other matters involved with helping us grow our business and achieve our goals. We’re always getting new ideas on how to streamline our businesses, save money and increase profits - for example, ways of saving on foreign exchange fees, or using a new pricing model to boost prices.
