Located in the Sooke Basin, RUSH Adventures is a great launching point for people looking to go for a paddle on the ocean in a safe area. We offer half day and full day tours, as well as full moon paddles, all starting from our location in the Sooke Basin. Our tours are a great way to explore the beautiful scenery of the Sooke Basin. Our certified guides will show you all the highlights of the area and give you some insight into the wildlife and history. Find out about the mysterious grey ship in Coopers Cove, see where John Wayne used to party and say hello to all the animals that call the basin their home. We often see seals, sea stars and jellyfish, and on occasion even see herons, bald eagles and sea cucumbers (our personal favourites! They’re really weird).
For those wanting to take their paddling further, our instructors with years of industry experience will be happy to arrange lessons for you. We offer everything from paddle stroke and wet exit courses, to Paddle Canada basic and level 1, to rolling and kayak surfing clinics.
If you’re already a competent paddler and want to rent then we also have rentals available, as well as SUP rentals.
