Online Dementia Education to enhance the skills of our front-line healthcare workers.
We are a small Canadian business that provides Dementia Support to families and front-line workers/caregivers as well as Dementia Education. Through our “Dementia Care Academy†Division, we provide online self-paced dementia education courses with certificates for front-line healthcare workers. Our program is recognized as a Certified Educational Institution in Canada which allows for an Education Tax Receipt.
We feel that the status quo is no longer enough. Traditional education lacks focus on the practical skills and knowledge needed to make a positive compassionate impact when working with people living with dementia. Our goal is to change the current beliefs and perceptions about individuals living with dementia and to improve the ways these individuals are generally treated and supported using compassionate person-centered care.
