Moss Street Farmers’ Market – BC Marketplace

Moss Street Farmers’ Market

One of Victoria’s most popular year-round farmers’ markets.

Moss Street has been the home of one of Victoria’s most popular year-round farmers’ markets since regional food producers began setting up farm stands at the Sir James Douglas School Grounds in the early 1990s.

Continually one of the best-attended markets in the region, more than 30 local organic farmers join upwards of 70 bakers and makers every week, spilling out onto the tree-lined boulevard. With live local musicians performing alongside the region’s most popular bakers, meat vendors, and vegetable farmers, the Moss Street Market is an essential weekend destination for Victoria locals and visitors.

This market is a member of the BC Association of Farmers’ Markets and now offers an online store through BC Farmers’ Markets Online. Find your local farmers’ market at bcfarmersmarkettrail.com to shop in-person or online.

Lots of great shops to visit. I stopped by Grandma's Apothec to pick up some natural soaps and deodorants. Parking is scarce in the area and the residential street by the school is for residents, but you can park a few streets over and enjoy a nice walk past the lovely homes and enjoy the flowers as you walk over to the market.
