Marzano

Marzano is a modern Italian restaurant that just re-opened its doors.

We embarked on a trip to Naples, Italy in 2017. We trained under one of the most revered, legendary pizzaiolas, Enzo Coccia, to understand the tradition and methods behind preparing the dough and working the forno. The course was rewarding and eye opening as we learned a century-old hand stretching dough techniques and simple authentic recipes. In addition to these well-guarded methods, we discovered the beauty of pure, fresh, non-GMO ingredients. The San Marzano tomato is a cornerstone ingredient that the locals take pride in as it is native only to the rich volcanic soil of the area. We were inspired by this and felt we needed to take the same care in selecting our ingredients, hence the name, Marzano, as an homage to quality and authenticity.

My girlfriend and I wanted to come here for dinner. Unfortunately, we didn't plan very well and they were full. We opted to join them for a brunch and that was an incredible decision. Service was super friendly, even though we were "those people" and sat at the dirty table (me calling us that, not them). Food was incredible, I can't accent that enough. I ordered their house Caesar and it was so clever and delicious, I could have had so many more! Fair price and in a solid piece of the town. I'll be HIGHLY recommending this to everyone I know and we WILL be back. Stand up applause, you guys, and well deserved!
