Viviane grew up in the soil her family had toiled for over 400 years, connecting her to the land with roots so deep is it any wonder she built a business around the natural healing properties of plants? Every year she harvests lavender grown in the soil owned by her family in France since the 1600s and has it shipped to her on Canada’s West Coast. Her brand, Les Jardins de Jaqueline carries soaps, lotions, home décor, essential oils, and dried French lavender for her customers to wrap themselves in the scent of this aromatic herb which has been cultivated since the days of the Romans who used it in their baths. Today, she grows lavender in two large field operations in BC’s Lower Mainland and soon on her farm in France, which was passed down to her from her parents. She has big plans to merge business with education.
