Kurva Design is a lighting and fine furniture design / build company.
Here at Kurva Design, I design and produce both high-quality lighting products as well as custom furniture and bespoke lighting pieces for both private individuals and large retail and hospitality companies.
My lighting and furniture designs have a west coast minimalist style. I create unique pieces that are influenced by my love of clean lines and curved forms. My lighting is regularly at design shows and galleries in Victoria and Vancouver including the oneTree Exhibit (2016, 2018 and 2020), Musee Gryphon (2020) and at IDS Vancouver (since 2015).
My lights are installed in private homes across North America and in large commercial spaces in Vancouver and Victoria and into the US. Examples can be seen at Montauk Sofa (Chicago), Gabriel Ross (Victoria), Thomas and Birch (Victoria) and at Kwench Culture Club (Victoria). I’m a graduate of the Fine Furniture Program at Camosun College (2011) and began Kurva Design in the fall of 2012.
Kurva is a Swedish word meaning bend or arc. Kurva Design reflects my love of curved design and Scandinavian minimalism
