Grove Front Gallery – BC Marketplace

Grove Front Gallery

Elegant & Finely crafted Wood Art

Grove Front Gallery opened since January 2019, in the downtown waterfront of Sunshine Coast (Sechelt), BC, Canada. Gallery owners Sabrina and Jimmy are photographers who always appreciate organic forms of art and wish to bring wood art to the public.

Our gallery is dedicated to presenting high-end and well designed wood art to the West Coast. We exclusively select and display unique works from artists locally and worldwide. Our mission is to help artists get the exposure they require to pursue their dreams of showing the world their visions on wood. There are also seasonal workshops held by artists at our gallery showcasing different techniques of wood working as well as in-depth conversations about their style and works. We are trying to bring together a community for wood lovers. So far we have featured over 100 artists since opening including local artists from The Wood Guild of Sunshine Coast. The Inside Passage School of Fine Cabinetmaking located in Roberts Creek has made our gallery its exclusive venue for hosting Graduating students’ art exhibitions each term.

Our main featured exhibition is handmade historic ship models from Mauritius. Famous ships like the HMS Bounty, Endeavour and Canada’s very own Blue Nose. Other exhibitions include wood accessories, sculptures, jewelries and home decor.

The most wonderful place I've been, with beautiful, and high-end wooden artworks. If you are interested in wood art, or ship models, you can not miss it. Just take a boat ride at Horseshoe Bay and have a visit. Arcadia!!
