Bicycle Pizza

Hand made, mostly round frozen pizza company based on the Saanich Peninsula on Vancouver Island. Bicycle Pizza operates in a shared kitchen with a focus on local business collaboration. Featuring local veggies from the surrounding farms and sustainable heritage breed meat, the pizza is approachable, delicious and fun.

Bicycle Pizza is a cross between New York and California style with a little mediterranean flair thrown in for good measure. But categorizing pizza is a silly thing to do. Who cares? It’s delicious! The dough is old-school with no funny ingredients: Unbleached white flour (with a bit of whole wheat), water, yeast and salt, and a little elbow grease too, as it’s rolled by hand. The long fermentation makes the dough easy to digest and gives it a great flavour too.

Bicycle Pizza is a family affair. In our family, we always eat together and make time for exercise – preferably on bikes. What started as a “what if” quickly turned into a “why not” which became a “let’s go for it” – all in a matter of months.

Bicycle Pizza is run by a family of pizza lovers located right here on Southern Vancouver Island. Family life is hectic but we always find time to sit down and eat together. We like to think that we are helping others do the same.

We took the 5 cheese and the Bicycle cheese Pizza. They were very tastefull and well cooked. We really loved the ambiance and the staff was very very kind. A must for every pizza lovers! Side note for people who don't live near the place. You will need to look for "Beauregard Commons" instead of Bicycle Pizza once you get in the parking lot.
