A home based studio and gallery featuring the art of multimedia artist Val van der Poel
Val van der Poel is a multi-media artist who lives and works in the small community of Wynndel, just 10 minutes north of Creston on Hwy 3A.
Although primarily a watercolor artist, Val also works in acrylics, mixed media and pen & ink. She is continually exploring new techniques and styles and has recently starting working with paper quilling. Subject matter ranges from realistic landscapes to straight abstract, imaginary scenes to fantasy or still-life.
Val also works in a wide range of sizes so there is something to fit every space in your home and something to fit every pocketbook. From original art for decorating your home to small souvenirs or gifts you will find a wide variety to see and enjoy at Val’s home-based Mellowood Studio.
